Die Grundfarben des Fells variieren von sehr hellem Beige über verschiede Braun und Rottöne bis hin zu tiefem Schwarz. Werden nun verschiedenfarbige Kechem gekreuzt, erhält man zum Teil die kuriosesten Kombinationen, da dies in der Regel in geschecktem Fell hinausläuft. Einfarbige Tiere sind recht selten, doch sie können durchaus aus der Kreuzung zweier gescheckter Exemplare, die beide zwei ähnliche Fellfarben aufweisen, wieder erneut auftreten. Seltene Kuriosa sind Tiere, deren vordere und hintere Körperhälfte sauber in zwei Farben geteilt sind, oder vierfarbige Kechem.<br />Die Kechem in einem Haushalt haben durchaus auch einen optischen Daseinszweck - und so wie man sich durchaus mal an seiner Wohnungseinrichtung sattgesehen hat und einen Tapetenwechsel braucht, so hat sich bei den Orks eine Art Tauschbörse für Kechem eingebürgert. Treffen zwei oder mehr Stämme auf ihren Reisen zusammen, so werden diese Tauschbörsen abgehalten, wo meist der ganze Stamm fast geschlossen mitsamt ihren Kechem erscheint und munter ihre Tiere tauscht. (noch nicht näher ausgearbeitet)<br /><br />- Zuneigungsbezeugungen durch Übergabe von Hervorgewürgter Nahrung. (Trolle?)<br /><br />- Zwei Gnome, die sich häuslich in den unbemerkten Ecken eines Restaurants niedergelassen haben, welches sich rühmt, seinen Gästen besonders schnell die Speisen zu servieren (und auch nur entsprechend schnell zuzubereitende Speisen anbietet). Die Gnome hören auf die Namen Tiksa und Patsi. Sie sind reine Pflanzenfresser, werden ca. 10 Jahre alt, werden aber meist schon mit 5 Jahren geschlachtet, weil danach die Eierproduktion rapide abnimmt und auch das Fleisch in seiner Qualität vermindert wird.<br /> <br />Die Wildform des domestizierten und schon seit 200 Jahren gehaltenen Tieres ist fast ausgestorben, die Urform, von der die Skýrtanan abstammen, ist vermutlich ein im Gebirge lebendes Tier, das etwas kleiner und schlanker und von fast weißer Fellfärbung ist.<br /> <br /><br /> <br /><u>Das Astædí (Albisch) bzw. Sulaii (Zwergisch)</u><br /> <br /><br /> <br /><img src="http://aeyansmottir.gomeck.de/infos/astaedi.jpg" align="left" style="padding-right:2mm;"> Das Astædí ist ein bis zu 2,50 Meter hohes, laufvogelartiges Tier, doch es ist ein Säuger mit einem gelblichbraunen Fell, das mit unregelmäßigen dunkelbraunen Flecken versehen ist und zum Kopf hin kräftig gelb wird. Die vorderen Extremitäten sind vollständig verkümmert. Es ernährt sich von Früchten und Blättern, verschmähen aber auch kleines Getier nicht.<br /> <br />Durch die hohe Kopfposition und die hohe Wachsamkeit der Astædínan werden sie bevorzugt an Dorfrändern gehalten, wo sie gleichzeitig eine Wachfunktion übernehmen, da sie bei drohender Gefahr in lautes Geschrei ausbrechen.<br /> <br />Ansonsten werden Astædínan vor allem als Zugtiere der albischen Karren und Wagen genutzt, die es in allen Größen und Formen gibt. In Geschirren werden zwischen ein und sechs Tiere vor die Karren gespannt. Ihr Fleisch hat einen sehr strengen Geschmack und ist nicht jedermans Sache. Ihr Fell wird des öfteren geschoren, um es als Wärm- und Dämmmaterial zu verwenden. Da Astædínan nur in den wärmeren Gebieten Æýansmottírs vorkommen und gehalten werden, ist Astædí-Fell ein Exportartikel in die kälteren Regionen des Kontinents.<br /> <br /><br /> <br /><u>Das Stræpn (Albisch)</u><br /> <br /><br /> <br /><img src="http://aeyansmottir.gomeck.de/infos/straepn.jpg" align="left" style="padding-right:2mm;"> Stræpnan sind bis zu fünf Meter lange, stämmige Vierbeiner mit einer Rückenhöhe von bis zu zwei Metern. Es ist auf dem Rücken, dem Bauch und dem Hals mit schütterem, langem Fell bedeckt, der die graue, ledrige Haut durchscheinen lässt, die Beine und der Kopf sind dagegen dichter mit kurzem Fell bewachsen. Große Teile des Körpers sind fast haarlos.<br /> <br />Stræpnan werden bis zu 60 Jahre alt und werden vor allem zum Ziehen und Tragen schwerer Lasten, vor allem in der Landwirtschaft eingesetzt, ansonsten sind es behäbige Tiere.<br /> <br />Die domestizierte Form existiert so schon seit über 600 Jahren, die Urform ist das etwas schlankere Stuakír, das in kleinen Herden in allen gemäßigten Zonen des Landes vorkommt. Stræpnan leben in Herden zwischen 15 und 25 Tieren, die beiden Geschlechter haben unter sich eine Rangordnung, Jungtiere stehen außerhalb der Rangordnung, das Herdenoberhaupt ist stets ein Bulle. Sind Herden größer als 25 Tiere, kommt es zu oft zu Machtkämpfen.<br /> <br />Stræpnan gebären stets nur ein Junges, das von der ganzen Gemeinschaft großgezogen wird, das Jungtier baut keine individuelle Kind-Mutter-Beziehung auf.<br /> <br />Stræpn werden außerdem auch gemolken, ihre Milch für vielerlei Zwecke verwendet.
