<div style="clear:both;"></div><img src="http://aeyansmottir.gomeck.de/bilder/thumb-rohr-ohr-pflanze.jpg" style="align:left; padding-right:3mm; padding-bottom:3mm; "><br /><b><u>Die Rohr-Ohr-Pflanze:</u></b><br />Dieses seltsam anzusehende Gewächs gedeiht vor allem auf feuchten Wiesen und aufgelockerten Wäldern, eine kleinere Unterart kommt auch auf sumpfigen Böden in Regenwäldern vor. Letztere wird aber so gut wie kaum landwirtschaftlich genutzt, erstere jedoch in hohem Maße.<br /><br />Sie kommt natürlich zumeist an der Ostküste vor, man findet sie jedoch auch zum Teil im Süden und im westlichen Zentralland Æýansmottírs. Sie wird bis zu 1,40m hoch und verfügt über keinerlei Blätter, sie besteht im Wesentlichen aus einem fasrigen Rohr, etwa bis zur Hälfte hohl und am Boden stark erweitert. <br /><br />Das obere Ende des Pflanzenrohrs dagegen bildet eine fleischige große Öffnung, deren Form stark an eine Ohrmuschel erinnert, wodurch die Pflanze ihren Namen erhalten hat.<br />Während das Pflanzenrohr gänzlich intensiv grün gefärbt ist, geht diese Farbe in der Öffnung des Pflanzenkopfes zunächst zu Gelb und schließlich in ein dunkles Orange über. <br />Die Pflanze bezieht ihre Nährstoffe nicht nur aus dem Boden, sondern zusätzlich noch aus absorbierte Insekten, die durch die lebhaft gefärbte Öffnung und durch einen leicht süßlichen Geruch angelockt werden, in das Rohr gelangen und dort im unteren Bereich durch ein klebriges Sekret an den Wänden haften bleiben. Auch durch Wind herangetragene Erdpartikel und Wasser gelangt häufig ins Innere der Pflanze und bildet dort eine Humusschicht.<br /><br />Durch diese Ernährungsweise ist es der Pflanze auch möglich, auf recht nährstoffarmen Böden zu wachsen. <br />Dies machen sich Alben und Zwerge zunutze und bauen die Rohr-Ohr-Pflanze sehr häufig an. Lediglich in den nördlichen Gebieten ist es zu kalt für die landwirtschaftlichen Nutzung.<br />Die fasrige Pflanze wird zur Herstellung von grobem Stoffgewebe und von Seilen genutzt, doch als wesentlicher Nebeneffekt wird der Saft der Fasern aufgefangen und eingedickt. Dieser Sirup ist sehr süß und wird im ganzen Land zur Verfeinerung von Getränken und Speisen verwendet. <div style="clear:both;"></div>Rýttar ist in ihrer domestizierten Form eine ca. 1,20m hohe, dünnstängelige Pflanze mit mehreren schmalen Rispen, an denen durchschnittlich 20-30 Samen wachsen. Am Stängel verteilt befinden sich zudem 10-20 breite, kurze Blätter. Die Wildform ist kleiner, hat einen dickeren Stängel und hat auch weniger Rispen.<br /><br />Die Besonderheit dieser Pflanze ist ihre hohe Salztoleranz, weshalb sie auch in Überflutungsgebieten am Meer wächst. Sie wird in vielen Gebieten im Süden, Westen und Osten Æýansmottírs angebaut, oft in künstlich überfluteten Feldern. Sie trennt das Meeres-Salz vom Wasser und scheidet es an den Blättern wieder ab, wo das Salz stets eine weiße Kruste bildet. Ist die Oberfläche völlig vom Salz bedeckt, fallen die Blätter ab, und es wachsen neue.<br />Die Alben ernten daher nicht nur die Ähren, um sie zu säubern und zu trocknen, sondern auch das Salz, welches auf dem ganzen Kontinent als beliebtes Würzmittel verwendet wird. <br /><br />Die Pflanze selbst ist leicht salzig und reich an Nährstoffen und Mineralien, die im Meer vorkommen. <div style="clear:both;"></div>Auf der Suche nach Grundnahrungsmitteln und entsprechenden Pflanzen bin ich auf Folgendes gestoßen:<br /><br /><b><u>Tsúal ("Tsüal")</u></b><br /><br /><img src="http://aeyansmottir.gomeck.de/bilder/thumb-tsual-farbe.jpg"><br /><br />Eine etwa 1,5-1,8m hohe Pflanze, die vor allem in Feuchtgebieten gedeiht und in der kultivierten Form ein eigens angelegten Wasserbecken angebaut. Um einen besseren Stand im nassen Untergrund zu haben, teilt sich zum Boden hin der Stängel in drei Streben auf, 1-2 große, spitz zulaufende Blätter bekleiden den Stängel. Der Fruchtkörper selbst ist ca. 40-50 cm lang, 20-25cm dick, bauchig und nach oben hin spitz zulaufend, solange die Schutzblätter noch um den Fruchtkörper herum geschlossen sind. Ist die Pflanze zur Reife gelangt, öffnen sich diese Schutzblätter kranzförmig und legen den Fruchtkörper frei. Dieser ist 35-40cm hoch und über und über mit spitzen, hellgrünen Samenkörnern bedeckt. Die Schutzblätter fallen nach 1-2 Wochen ab, dies ist dann auch meist der richtige Zeitpunkt zur Ernte, sofern ausreichend Sonne die Frucht nachreifen lassen, sonst lassen die Bauern die Pflanze noch 1-2 Wochen länger stehen.<br />Die Erntearbeiter pflücken lediglich den kompletten Fruchtkörper ab, indem sie die Pflanze zu sich herunterziehen (meist geht das Gewässer den Alben bis zu den Knien) und die Knolle abbrechen. Die Pflanze selbst bleibt unversehrt. Sie wirft später auch noch den Blätterkranz unterhalb der Schutzblätter ab, und in aller Regel entwickelt sich aus der darunter liegenden Stängel-Knolle nach einer Ruhezeit von 1-2 Monaten innerhalb weniger Wochen erneut ein weiterer Fruchtkörper, so dass zwei Ernten im Jahr möglich sind.<br /><br />Die Samenkörner der Tsúal-Pflanze werden entweder als Ganzes gekocht und so verzehrt und bildet eine sehr verbreitete Nahrungsgrundlage, da sie getrocknet sehr lange haltbar ist. Sie wird jedoch auch gemahlen, aus dem Tsúal-Mehl wird Brot und ähnliches gebacken.<div style="clear:both; padding-bottom:0.25em"></div>

<div style="clear:both;"></div>Die Entstehungsprozesse von Entschlüssen ist ja oft nicht wirklich nachvollziehbar. Und so weiß ich auch nicht genau, warum ich nachfolgende grundlegende Eigenschaften der Flora und Fauna beschlossen habe, irgendwie war da plötzlich die vage Idee, und wie so oft kurz darauf der Gedanke: warum denn nicht, wer will es mir verbieten? <strong>grins</strong><br />
<br /><br />
<br />Allgemein gesprochen werde ich wohl die Flora und Fauna nur in den Teilen beschreiben, die <b>"wichtig"</b> oder <b>"nötig"</b> sind. Anders als auf Mysterion werde ich hier nicht einfach aus der Lust an irgend einer verrückten Idee ein entsprechendes Tier, eine entsprechende Pflanze schaffen, sondern nur das, was sinnvoll erscheint und für Handlung von Geschichten oder Beschreibung von sozialem Leben der intelligenten Völker von Nöten ist.<br />
<br />Insgesamt wird die Flora und Fauna von Æýansmottír <b>"vernünftiger"</b> als die von Mysterion sein.<br />

<br /><u><b>Die Flora</b></u> werde ich wohl nur in groben Zügen beschreiben. Ich werde bestimmt irgendwelche Früchte, Getreide etc. mit Namen benennen. Aber ich werde wohl eher nicht die Pflanzen im Detail ausarbeiten. Es ist halt "Getreide". Oder eben "Gemüse" oder "Obst", wobei hier noch am ehesten rein optische und geschmackliche Details erwähnt werden dürften. Aber großartige Daten und Fakten wird es wohl nicht geben.<br />

<br /><u><b>Die Fauna</b></u> wird schon detaillierter beschrieben, aber eben nur in der oben erwähnten Art und Weise, wenn sie irgendwie nötig erscheint.<br />
<br />Außerdem sind letztens in mir folgende zwei Grundeigenschaften der Fauna in den Sinn gekommen:<br />

<br /><u><b>a) Es gibt keine Vögel.</b></u> Es gibt fliegende Tiere, doch sie haben keine Federn. Es gibt eierlegende Tiere und Tiere mit Schnäbel, doch dies sind trotzdem keine Vögel, sondern Säuger (natürlich gibt es auch Echsen, Amphibien, Fische und Insekten, die Eier legen, wie es sich gehört, aber das ist was anderes).<br />
<br /><br />
<br /><u><b>b) Säuger haben drei Zehen.</b></u> Punkt. So wie wir fünf haben. Und zwar alle. Ich lasse noch mit mir reden, daß sie eigentlich vier haben, aber der vierte bei fast allen Tieren verkümmert ist und quasi als Sporn nach hinten gerichtet ist, während die eigentlichen drei Zehen nach vorne gerichtet sind (ähnlich wie bei den irdischen Vögeln). Den entgültigen Entschluss darüber habe ich noch nicht getroffen.<div style="clear:both; padding-bottom:0.25em"></div>
